Ash Wednesday in Dun Laoghaire

I am not religious.

But I am not anti religion (well, not as long as it doesn’t breed Kalashnikov-wielding Neanderthals with the sense of humour of a US Immigration officer and an itchy trigger finger…)

I am all for peaceful cohabitation.

And each and every year, I look forward to Ash Wednesday.

It is a great tradition. I feel a bit sad to see a little bit less participants each year. This is the reason why I have been trying to keep a record of it for the last six years.

Thanks a million to the 2015 participants in this gallery!
