Concrete paternal love

I love my kids, I do.

I love photographing concrete, I love that too.

They are colourful, noisy and energetic.

Concrete is grey, cold and motionless.

 

And silent.

Oh, darling concrete, why do you always get the upper hand?

    • I do cherish them. In my own sarcastic way. The cherishing might take a hit come the teenage years, but I’ll hang in there…
      It may not be much of a consolation but I have read somewhere that a clinical study showed that people without children lived longer.
      It’s all that quality sleep they are getting 😉
